What I do is not nearly as important to me as loving what I am doing. I must put my soul’s needs first in my life.
The mind desires. It is always going to desire. Desires are not what causes our problems. Conflict in our live is by attaching to our desires. To live in peace we must only observe our desires and invest in the quiet between the desiring thoughts.
Listening to the mind, while generally helpful, can also be harmful. The mind is a wonderful servant but it was never designed to be a master.
